Temporary numbers are available online freely on websites, Telegramgroups &💻 other similar platforms. You can head to any website or group offering this service, pick a number & use it any time you want to leave no trace behind or expose yours. Besides, free services of temporary numbers are often available publicly & often used by scammers, hackers & co-workers who are probably not up to good…
For example, as shown below, Google, Apple & other accounts are likely to be compromised as used with temporary numbers… Consider this when you use them, as they are publicly available. Anyone can access them anytime. Also, not all platforms accept them for verification, even if there is always a way around it. Lastly, we also have burner numbers available as apps or websites; thus, VOIP services to choose from often come with a price, but we will see them in detail in future stories.

1. Protects your privacy by not disclosing your actual phone number
This can be perfect for avoiding ending up on OSINT searches or alike.
2. Can be used for one-time transactions or communication to avoid spam
Not all businesses are honest & often resell our data without our consent, but with this option, they will not fill our inbox.
3. Can be helpful in situations where you don’t want to reveal your identity
How often do you ask for our number continuously? Thus, senselessly & uselessly, stop that & start using temps numbers on unsure websites or merchants.
4. Can be used for online accounts or social media profiles
Often, you can use them for social media or almost any website; remember that they are often flagged as spammer numbers.
Cons
1. Free temporary numbers are often used by scammers & hackers
Thus, be VERY aware that skilled people are on it….be cautious about what you use them.
2. Not all platforms accept temporary numbers for verification
Yes, these numbers are often flagged as spam numbers or similar, perhaps often unusable on socials…BUT…if you spend some minutes seeking new websites from different search engines….often, problem solved.
3. The number can expire quickly, which means you may lose access to critical information
Those numbers can disappear as fast as they appear. Indeed, be very careful about what info you link to, as if it is not a compromised cyber pirate. It..may just expire.
4. The quality of the temporary number service may not be as reliable as a regular phone number service
Quality is often low & no reliability when compared to classic SIM, VOIP or ESIM numbers besides the perils of being public.
